my practice philosophy in a nutshell:
Our practice philosophy is that our bodies are self-healing and self-regulating if our nervous systems are able to adapt appropriately to life's stressors. We do not focus solely on symptomatology; we perform a deep dive consultation into the health history of each patient and evaluate how the nervous system and brain are functioning and adapting to stress. Our approach to care consists of an individualized treatment plan of specific and gentle chiropractic adjustments along with healthy lifestyle recommendations such as movement, nutrition, and nervous system regulation techniques.
Chiropractic care improves the ability of our nervous system to adapt to stress by allowing the brain and body to communicate optimally.
Most of our patients continue with ongoing wellness care after their initial treatment plans because they understand and feel the importance of keeping chiropractic care part of their wellness lifestyle "toolkit". Let's be honest, stress will always be part of our lives in some form. Wellness care keeps your nervous system health in tip top shape so it responds appropriately to that stress.
when i'm not practicing:
I am a wife and mama to two boys; my oldest is autistic and has sensory processing disorder which is why I have a large focus on neurodiverse families in my practice. Being able to support families going through the journey of neurodiversity is truly a gift. I love to be in nature, go hiking, read personal development books to find ways to continue to better myself, read and learn anything about neuroscience, cooking/baking, and spending time with the people that mean the most to me.
